Fry one onion cut into small pieces.
Fry in a little butter.
Add your leftover chicken/turkey or ham (or a combination of meats) shredded into small pieces.Fry until hot but not brown
Add your pate and it will melt into the butter.
Add a glass of white wine and/or a tot of brandy
Add some cream to make a thickish sauce - garnish with parsley and serve with with either mashed potato or slices of really good bread.
