What do you do with all those green tomatoes at the end of the season?
Why not try this jam? It really is good and tastes like raspberries! Use a good quality jelly and you are away!
5 1/2 cups chopped green tomatoes
5 1/2 cups sugar
1 package raspberry-flavored jelly - (6-oz)
In large kettle combine tomatoes and sugar. Simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in gelatin until dissolved, about 1 minute. Pour into jars and top with lids.
This recipe yields about 7 pound jars
